Choose your calling
Your calling is Tikal Sunbound’s character class. It shapes your combat style and is a permanent choice for that character, so take a moment to compare all four.
Compare the four classes
| Calling | Combat focus | Choose it if you enjoy… |
|---|---|---|
| Jaguar Knight | Melee and resilience | Meeting enemies at close range. |
| Eagle Paladin | Distance attacks and protection | Ranged combat with a protective role. |
| Sky Sorcerer | Magic and elemental attacks | Managing spells from beyond the front line. |
| Jade Druid | Nature magic and healing | Combining recovery and magical attacks. |

Jaguar Knight: meet danger head-on
Jaguar Knights emphasize close combat and endurance. Melee training supports their basic attacks, and their health growth gives them a sturdy foundation for facing creatures directly. Watch protection and recovery as well as weapon damage when preparing equipment.

Eagle Paladin: strike from a distance
Eagle Paladins combine distance-based basic attacks with protective techniques. This calling suits players who like a ranged role while remaining attentive to their companions. Distance training and equipment choices support that approach.

Sky Sorcerer: command the elements
Sky Sorcerers focus on magic, with a larger mana pool and lower starting health than the other sworn callings. Their basic attacks and learned damage techniques benefit from magic training. Keep an eye on mana and positioning when planning your next encounter.

Jade Druid: nature, recovery and attack
Jade Druids bring healing and nature magic to their adventures. Magic training contributes to both offensive spells and healing, giving this calling a role in recovery as well as damage. Prepare techniques that fit the challenge instead of treating healing as your only job.
How training and calling paths work
Open the Character panel to review your overview, training and calling path. Melee, distance, magic and guard develop through useful combat contributions; vocation mastery is a separate resource for learning techniques and unlocking paths.
Each calling has two paths. The panel shows their unlock requirements and confirmation step. A path choice does not replace your permanent vocation.
Which class is best for a beginner?
Start with the role you want to play: close combat, ranged attacks, elemental magic or healing. There is no single best choice for every player. Read the in-game review before confirming, then learn your starting techniques and recovery options during the introduction.
